MY FIRST BLOG

Ok here it is. I guess I've procrastinated long snuff. I have no more excuses. Cuz really I was skiving today. So let's not beat ard the bush. Let me try and answer wat most of u have been asking, want to ask, and will keep badgering me with. The million-dollar question: HOW DID I LOSE ALL DAT WEIGHT? I want to emphasize rite here that THERE IS NO SHORT CUT TO WEIGHT LOSS, NO ONE-SIZE FITS ALL answer. We are not made from the same mould, ( thank goodness for that:)) It is an ongoing process, for as long as you will live. I make small lifestyle changes, and if they work and its something dat fits my everyday life, i STICK TO IT. My overall focus, on top of weightloss, is to be healthier.

Here's wat I want to do and start with dis blog: I want to start sharing info n start da ball rolling on weightloss and health issues. So here's some tips to start with:

1. If you are overweight, targeting specific muscle group for example, sit ups and stomach crunches, will not be enuff lose the weight. Do high intensity exercises like circuit training, resistance training, pilates instead dat targets the major muscle groups. Google them on YouTube.

2. ALL DIETS WORK. But they won't work FOREVER. Remember dat the more you starve YR body, the faster it will get into a "starvation mode". Dat means it will hold on to YR body reserves and not allow it to burn fat. Get YR metabolism going.


3. AVOID
* SIMPLE SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, HFCS
* WHITE FLOUR
* PROCESSED FOOD

INCLUDE
1. PROTEIN
2. GREEN TEA, H2O
3. GRAPEFRUIT

So there. Dats it for now. Let's do dis and help one another.  I will try and do dis twice a week. Pick JUST ONE fr da list above to avoid n to include n STICK TO IT. You are most welcome to share YR tips, experiences, questions. Remember, weight loss is da focus but to be healthier is da ultimate goal.
